Had some Smoken Kihei runs and all you shark lovers will like this one day wind and waves turned quickly west, on shore, about 3-4 beam so decided to bail a little short of my destination (polo beach) did a 10 shore break dismount (luck) a huge crowd was gathered in front of me a women comes running up screaming get out of the water ,( Heard this before ) guy just got bit by shark right where I came in. Sure enough There he was bleeding from his back and shoulder Medics an ambulance shows up and takes Him away. All well sharks have to eat too. Beaches closed. For some reason when I'm paddling they don't bother me. Least of my worries over here. Doing race on Malico tomorrow. Several hundred participants mostly OC ones and standups. | ||
