Part of Ocean Racing is being able to handle whatever the ocean throws at you. It was certainly a course that challenged the best paddlers in the world, the most versatile paddlers prevailed! Oscar didn't race because it wasn't pure downwind. The ICF put on a great race. Well organized. I was impressed with huge number of younger paddlers participating in the Open, U-23 and U-18 categories. I think the ICF is doing a good job of growing the sport. I would return to do another race here for sure. Hearing from other racers you have participated in races here in previous years, conditions have been very good.
